ACT干货分享：ACT阅读考试指导

　　全世界每年有近250万人次参加ACT考试，ACT考试不仅考察学生对英语的掌握能力，还要考查数学、科学等多个方面，是一项能力的测试。在国内，已有一些“211工程”的大学获美国ACT Education Solutions Limited 授权成为美国高考官方培训点，通过与“全球最受广泛认可的国际大学预科”GAC(Global Assessment Certificate)课程以及“美国高考”ACT(American College Test)考试的中西优质教育资源结合，开设了GAC国际大学预科课程(如：广州暨南大学GAC-ACT中心)[1] ，为学生提供考试服务，学生不必再像以往那样必须到香港报名。GAC国际大学预科课程内容与美国ACT考试要求非常一致，学生在完成GAC预科学习的同时，即可在该中心参加ACT考试。

　　ACT考试每年举行6次，具体时间分别是2月、4月、6月、9月、10月和12月;其中2月考试只在北美地区举行。

　　据ACT考试的主办方负责人透露，为了在中国进行ACT考试的推广，ACT方面已经在中国的一些大城市设置了教学考试中心。并将在年内在国内的北京、上海、沈阳、青岛、大连、成都、广州，哈尔滨，西安等城市设置相关的考场，为考生参加ACT考试提供更大的便利。

　　ACT阅读考试指导，ACT考试阅读部分选材于四个方面：社会科学，自然科学，散文、小说和人文学科。社会科学/科学得分基于前两者的得分情况。文科/文学得分基于散文、小说和人文学科的得分。下面跟小编一起来看ACT考试大纲关于阅读方面的说明。

　　The Reading Test is based on four types of reading selections: social studies, natural sciences, prose fiction, and humanities. The Social Studies/Sciences subscore is based on the questions in the social studies and the natural sciences sections of the test, and the Arts/Literature subscore is based on the questions in the prose fiction and humanities sections of the test.

　　· Social Studies (25%). Questions in this category are based on passages in the content areas of anthropology, archaeology, biography, business, economics, education, geography, history, political science, psychology, and sociology.

　　· 社会科学(25%)人类学，考古学，传记，商务，经济，教育，地理，历史， 政治科学，心理学和社会学。

　　· Natural Sciences (25%). Questions in this category are based on passages in the content areas of anatomy, astronomy, biology, botany, chemistry, ecology, geology, medicine, meteorology, microbiology, natural history, physiology, physics, technology, and zoology.

　　·自然科学(25%)解剖学，天文学，生物学，植物学，化学，生态学，地质学，医学，气象学，微生物学，博物学，生理学，物理学，工艺和动物学。

　　· Prose Fiction (25%). Questions in this category are based on intact short stories or excerpts from short stories or novels.

　　· 散文、小说(25%)完整的短篇故事或者短篇小说和长篇故事的节选。

　　· Humanities (25%). Questions in this category are based on passages from memoirs and personal essays and in the content areas of architecture, art, dance, ethics, film, language, literary criticism, music, philosophy, radio, television, and theater.

　　· 人文学科(25%)论文集，随笔，建筑学，艺术，舞蹈，道德，电影，语言，文学评论，音乐，哲学，电台，电视和剧院。
