A busybody dad has created an app to stop kidsfrom ignoring their parents' phone calls or texts.

一名好管闲事的父亲开发了一款让孩子们再也无法忽视父母电话短信的APP。

Nick Herbert was unable to contact his son, Ben, socame up with a way of stopping the 13-year-old fromscreening his calls.

尼克·赫伯特联系不上他的儿子本，于是就想出一个办法，让13岁的儿子再也不能无视他的电话。

The 45-year-old built the ReplyASAP messaging appwhich takes over the recipient's phone screen andsounds an alarm - and doesn't stop until it is answered.

尼克今年45岁，开发了一款名为“ReplyASAP”的消息应用程序，它可以占领接收者的手机屏幕并发出铃声，直到接收者回复才会停下来。

Parents are told if their kids have seen their message and if the troublesome teen's phone isturned off then a message pending sign will show on the sender's phone.

如果孩子已经看到了消息，APP会通知父母。但如果麻烦的孩子手机关机的话，父母手机上会显示消息待阅状态。

Now Mr Herbert, from West Wickham in London, is selling his creation to help stressed outparents across the country keep track of their children.

'My son started at Langley Park School for Boys a couple of years ago and has a smartphone', said Mr Herbert.

'I thought this would make getting hold of him easier, but it doesn't at all. In fact, he is alwaysplaying games and has the phone on silent. It drives me crazy', he said.

赫伯特先生说：“我本以为这会让我更容易联系到他，但事实并非如此。实际上，他总是在玩游戏，还把手机调成静音。我都要疯了。”

He hopes the app will make their relationship better as a result.

他希望这款APP能改善父子间的关系。

'It will alleviate the stress when I can't get hold of him as I will know that he has seen mymessage', he said.

他说：“在我联系不上他的时候，这款APP能让我确认他已经看到了我的信息，可以为我减轻压力。”

However, currently the app only works with Android and his 13-year-old Ben has an iOS phone. He is keen to get his app working on iPhone devices as soon as possible.

不过，现在这款APP只兼容安卓系统，他儿子的手机却是iOS系统。他渴望APP能尽快在苹果手机上运行。
